APEM’S TRIO OF KEYPADS consisting of 3 variations:

  1. PKI series: customizable keypads with snappable icon inserts for last-minute flexibility.
  2. PKD series: 3-in-1 jog dial combining rotary encoder, pushbutton & joystick.
  3. PKR series: space-saving, high-density keypad, ideal for compact panels.

PKI series – The modular version

Offering flexible layouts (2–15 keys) and removable icon inserts, the PKI series supports rapid customization for any application. Available in 15mm or 24mm button sizes, it ensures precise control—even when wearing gloves. The keypad delivers clear tactile feedback and configurable RGB LED rings for status indication, all within a compact, sealed design.

PKD series – The versatile option

The PKD series combines three essential control functions—joystick, rotary encoder, and pushbutton—into a single, space-saving knob. With CANopen and J1939 protocols embedded, this unit simplifies user interaction with touchscreen or display interfaces while maintaining operational safety and comfort. Designed for intuitive operation, the PKD reduces training time and streamlines access to multiple machine functions.

PKR series – The ultra-compact model

Designed for harsh conditions, the PKR keypad offers a soft-touch rubber overlay with precise tactile response and enhanced grip. Despite its ultra-compact form factor, PKR supports dynamic multi-color LED feedback, customizable laser-etched icons, and up to 3 RGB indicators per button—ideal for multi-function control in tight spaces.
